I recently worked closely with Phil Ruschmeyer and David Ray of the Ruscehmeyer Corporation on rezoning of a large tract of land within the city of Aurora. It was challenging project because an older mobile home park on the land was being closed and some residents were being displaced.
A close channel of communication between my office and the ownership group was imperative during the process. Phil and David went above and beyond my expectations in getting prompt responses to me and our City team, and in working with the ownership group to help us all find a resolution to help the displaced mobile home park residents. Phil and David worked closely on execution of the relocation plan which later led to a successful rezone hearing.

He helped us put together a recent deal between our firm and a group we already knew but hadn’t thought of as a partner for the transaction we were planning. The last transaction Phil helped our company with was selling an office condo which closed shortly before Covid hit Colorado, setting a record high price per square foot , close to $1,000 per square foot. Sensing that the impending situation could cause havoc on the real estate market, Phil pushed hard to keep the buyer and his mortgage company moving forward to a successful closing a few days before the first casualty hit the United States.
